Thai 55th Restaurant

I wrote a negative review about this place a couple months back and I totally take it back. I've eaten here a few times since then and it has been delicious each time. Not sure what happened the first time, but this place has been consistently great ever since. Their curry is amazing and they are very generous with additions and substitutions. This is definitely one of my favorite places for take-out in Chicago.

They ran out of noodles for my pasta dish but substituted it with duck curry. It was good. They were so apologetic and accommodating with notifying me and giving me several good alternatives to replace my original selection. Just good customer service. Thanks for that!!

The delivery was awesome; like 15 mins ahead of schedule!
The Pad Woo Sen was ok relative to the shumai (which were amazing). Though I liked the pad wunsen peanut sauce once I got down to it. It settled into the bottom of the dish.

GrubHub calls this restaurant my "go-to" and it's absolutely right! When I want to make sure my order is correct, on time, and delicious, I order from here. They've never disappointed me! :) Thanks and keep up the great work!

Delivered on time, was hot, flavorful and even included plates and silverware which was great since I forgot to ask and we are staying at the hospital. Will definitely order again!

Food was super yummy! The people that work there are so kind.
